I can still remember the first time I used my moms grey and black Nikon CoolPix digital camera. I was fascinated by the way something so small could capture something so big. It was like magic to me, being able to click a button and freeze whatever moment was happening. Whether I was dressing up my sisters in crazy costumes or outside in a field of flowers, I always found joy in capturing the details of life. When I’m not in my editing cave, I’m usually exploring nature’s bounty and making memories with my family.
the experience
For me, photography is about listening. It’s about storytelling and being able to portray the authenticity and raw emotions we as humans create. My goal is to help you have fun during our time together. Bottom line is we are all awkward in front of a camera. My job is to help you let your guard down and simply be in the moment. My style is focused around your lifestyle; your likes, your passions, your weird quirks. I won’t be the one to pose you and make you feel like a statue, but rather provide you with cues and always lots of movement (although there is a time to be still). And I can promise you there will be lots of laughter.

I’m a proud momma to my sweet daughter, Maeve, and two adopted fur babes. I can rewatch Game of Thrones for eternity. I love my indoor cycling bike and running the roads of my hometown. Mountain tops + a good sunset will always make me happy. I love the smell of fresh lavender. Red wine is acceptable to drink any time of day. I bleed blue and red for the Buffalo Bills. Simple math is my weakness. Birkenstocks are the best thing ever invented. I’m obsessed with cheese. The state of Maine is amazing (I ate lobster rolls for four straight days when I was there). Favorite musical artist? Billy Joel. Favorite food? Mashed potatoes. What bothers me most? Ungrateful humans.
