SARA + LUIS

Anyone who can pull off wearing emerald green velvet shoes on their wedding day is my kind of person. Accompanied by a black leather jack with floral touches and it’s game over. Sara and Luis tied the knot on a chilly, yet sunny, late fall day at the Arbor Loft located in the heart of Rochester, NY. I met Sara about 6 years ago through work and was ecstatic to document her big day. Luckily for me, Luis and Sara wanted an engagement session as well and we really got to know one another by spending some time goofing around Highland Park one summer evening.

Fast-forward to November 5. I arrived at the Arbor Loft and found Sara getting ready with her favorite people while the early afternoon sun painted shadows across the floorboards. A few feet down the hall, Luis was enjoying a relaxing afternoon with his buddies. No drama, no rushing. Just two people actually enjoying the morning of their wedding. Luis and Sara’s easy-going nature and desire to really live in the moment was what made their day so special. There really wasn’t a strict timeline or plan - the day simply flowed from one hour to the next, and each moment was filled with so much gratitude and love.
